Despite the fact that the thesis that he is an agent is gaining consensus among many flat earthers, I still cannot see the damage that he is doing to the movement. I see more help from these interviews than harm, because he does not sound crazy at all. He sounds mentally healthy, appealing, sincere and he is explaining flat earth in a convincing way to the average listener.
So, OK, let's assume he is an agent. Yet he does not sound like Alex Jones and is rather convincing. So why are the powers that be meaning to spread the theory about flat earth? You will answer that they are spreading it with the "dome builders" explanation, but they're still spreading it more than if these interviews and videos never existed. Why not just leave it as it was?
Getting back to Mark Sargent's latest interview, despite the odd things mentioned about the radio hosts, I stress out that we still have to keep an open mind on whether he is a shill or not, because there are still things that rule it out.

Also you also were strangely already in contact with him when you joined this forum, how/why is that? You were the only one who has been able to get Mark to respond to my scores of criticisms too. Mark Sargent joined the forum on March 9th, then on March 10th Acenci pasted an email reply he apparently received from Mark saying "of course he has no evidence the Moon, stars and planets are holograms." Since then Mark hasn't even signed into the forum once, but Acenci has been here everyday paying lip-service to all my points exposing Mark, and then concluding after every post that even with all my legitimate criticisms, that Mark is "not doing damage to the movement," he does, "more help than harm," there are "still things that rule it out that he is a shill," and you're still saying "my apologies to Mark in case I have been suspecting him unfairly!" What!? Mark Sargent and the Flat Earth Society are currently the biggest enemies of the flat Earth truth and you're still half-defending and praising the FES too saying things like (can't find the exact quote) "they are some of the most knowledgeable people on the flat Earth if we could get them over here and on our side bla bla bla, and how you still don't think they're controlled opposition either!?" Why are you endlessly praising, defending and apologizing to the biggest enemies of the flat Earth truth? I made this forum to out/expose these shills and you're the most prolific user on here constantly praising, defending and apologizing to them, telling everyone they're NOT shills!? What do other people think about Acenci and this issue? I really like your personality (from what I can tell online) Acenci, but this issue needs to be discussed. Peace!

OK, so I just got banned, and since I was asked weeks ago to join this forum, I did so today.
First, in late February, I had joined the flat earth society big shill forum, with 57,000 members, and I found almost only ridicule and harassment there, by an apparent majority of non-flat-earthers.
So I left for tfes.org, with 300 members, and there I found a place that is a little better, but pretty dead, except for academic pedantry, jokes, gatekeeping and so on. Also, it has zero enthusiasm for teaching flat earth and spreading the truth to newcomers and outsiders. It is like the Rotary Club of flat earth. Outsiders are not welcome, and they don't care to tell anyone about flat earth.
Then I went to ifers.boards.net and there everything seemed fine to me, until I was banned for stressing out that there was no certainty that Mark Sargent was a shill and defending minorities, in this case Jews. But it could have been any other religion, nationality or political creed. It all depends who I perceive to be the minority or the unfair prejudices being expressed against it.
I don't know much about flat earth, I am not willing to read entire books on it, and I am more of a YouTube researcher. I think logically and I am orderly. I like writing. I am looking for a place where I can express my ideas about flat earth and other conspiracy theories, without:
1) personal attacks (e.g. theflatearthsociety.org and ifers.boards.net)
2) excessive joking around (e.g. theflatearthsociety.org and tfes.org)
After spending one entire month advertising the last forum, which was great until, to my complete surprise, they banned me for being a "NASA" / "Zionist" shill, I am willing to promote this one, and see if I can get any of the good people, also banned, from the previous forum.
I don't know how much I will be allowed to talk about other conspiracy theories, but if it's not the right place, then I won't. I will respect administrators and moderators as usual. I will respect other users, too, to the point of being accused of kissing up -- which was another motivation for banning me, because, as I just learned, someone who is nice to everyone... is suspicious. Especially if you don't agree with the leader and side with the minorities being attacked (in this case Mark Sargent and the Jews).
A leader, like at the other forum, is inevitable, but the methodology cannot be that all the forum members agree with the leader or are banned as shills. It can be in a political party, but not on a forum. On a forum you must be allowed to have your own opinion and politely express it, even when it does not agree with the leader and/or the majority.
The reason I battled so much against the shills at that forum, and had many of them banned, is that they were harassing users, or, more frequently, the leader. I also expressed disagreement when other members argued rudely and attacked "ad hominem" the leader or other members. Then, for the same act of defending other users, I was labelled a "shill" and banned.
Do I regret fighting against shills when at the end I was banned as a shill? Those shills and trolls exist and a forum cannot work if you allow them. A person who harasses others is a shill. A person who politely disagrees is not a shill. So all I can regret is that it took me one month to find out that on that forum if you politely disagree with the leader, you risk being expelled.
Obviously it has to be mentioned that they really believed I was a shill, so while it is an objective injustice, they did not mean it as such. Indeed, the extreme paranoia in this field (the leader received death threats in the past) frequently has these consequences, and, while I maintain that such forum is now useless (for lack of basic freedom of speech), I understand the faulty reasoning that lead to my expulsion. I understand how, being paranoid, they mistook my politeness and sense of justice for a secret agenda, of protecting the interests of their enemies: the "Zionists" and Mark Sargent.
In fact, I am honored that defending a minority has lead to these accusations. I am honored that I got in trouble for not siding with the majority and with the strongest.

You can write whatever you want just try to back it up with some facts please. Any wild ideas are also welcome, but we would open a separate thread for those. Please give any suggestions how to improve this forum. Currently, it is pretty basic.
