Well, so, did any of you read one of his books from start to end? If you didn't, we can't make such accusations, no matter how resentful we are. And we are resentful, so that might affect our judgment. Furthermore, being someone who doesn't read and just watches YouTube videos, I have to praise someone who has read all the books he read and explains them to me, telling me the parts that answer my questions, as he's been doing on IFERS. My opinion is that if we put him down as a person, we are destined to contradict ourselves: because we appreciated him before his awful behavior of banning us. So I encourage you all to find something good in him, and point it out in each of your posts. So to keep a mental balance and objectivity and not be blinded by our resentment. We were kicked out as "shills" because he did not like a part of what we said. Let us not make the same mistake. Let us not deceive ourselves into thinking that everything about him is evil just because he behaved very unfairly to us. Let's keep our objectivity. We have been avenged by him kicking out more people after us. We were shown that it is not our fault, that we don't have to be ashamed about anything, that we are in good company, in the company of people like UNreal, who managed to behave very politely even after he was kicked out. We have enjoyed some popularity here thanks to his links to this forum. And what is most important is that we can make more of a difference if we stay balanced and only condemn his mistakes rather than everything. If you were to educate someone, you would say "good" to reinforce good behaviors, and "bad" to discourage bad behaviors. So we should do with everyone. "Bad!" to ban us after helping him and believing in him. And "good" for whatever else we appreciate about him. For example, I appreciate that he is a vegan, and, as I said, I appreciate that he read all those books and he explains them to us. Let us lead by example. Let us show them that we can separate the sin from the sinner. We condemn the sin and we forgive the sinner. I think that is also in one of the Christian prayers, correct me if I am wrong. I got banned for starting my sentences with a full stop I didn't even know I was doing it??? One minute BAM you must be a shill..i couldn't believe I got banned for that! |

Yes, I read "Flat Earth Conspiracy" in two nights. It is a compilation of excellent research. It's like JFK writing "Profiles in Courage", he's an editor, not an author. Another issue I didn't feel, but the three people I lent it to commented on, was the angst in the tone. None of the three completed the book, all saying it was to angry. I only gave it to friends/family I thought I had a chance in convincing. I'm 0-5 with my mom, son, and 3 best friends. I did not even offer the book to my mom or son. It seems this issue seriously effects people at a level they cannot comprehend. I don't get it, the Truth is the Truth. That's why I'm SDA.
I agree with the view that this thread has run it's course and should it should be put out of it's misery. Thanks Serendipitous! |

I too got banned from ifers.boards.net for asking if there may be and evil thing called satan. Because after i found out the world is flat then I think there most be a god which is good but also frightning you never know how he thinks, but as above so below as the pictures of god satan BTW how do you past pictures here  From maybe the first Dane on this forum |

Hey Guys, I might have a record, I joined yesterday and got banned today.. I can't remember the persons username but he was an old member over 1000+ posts, it started with 'you ignorant f*ck, why are you creating different accounts and posting, etc..'
I was very polite actually to the private message, and mentioned that when people look for something they normally find it.. And if I can't ask questions I don't want to post anything anyway and for them to keep up the good work but be open to anyone.. Just because I might ask a questions and give an opinion, it doesn't mean I'm right it's up to the receiver to filter the information.. Anyway as you guys have mentioned before people change.. I've seen this with plant medicine work which I done for an year, and same thing happened there.. All the close people to the 'leader' were pushed out one by one, and the people who are the 'yes' people some how got their way and slowly but surely got the true people away from the leader..
Doing the medicine work you can feel that it's certain 'dark' energies that are behind this and acting through certain people.. Anyway I did read a lot about shills yesterday and looks like I've been castaway, hope I'm welcome here and you guys can handle my questions..
For everyone's info, I'm not quite sure which questions got me banned so quickly.. Just to iterate as I did on the ifers forum, I can across Erics video a few days ago and was instantly fascinated and made a lot of sense about the flat earth.. I've looked into a lot of theories and which really got me going was the federal reserve system around 7 years ago, and as many other would one thing leads into another until you find out the truth about who's really running the show here on earth. Then the last year I went deep into the plant medicine work, residing on a work exchange program at a Ayahuasca retreat center for a year. I'm very open to a lot of things and very very open to people as I understand that there are other things at play in the background which are guiding/controlling peoples thought (including my own). Anyway that's another subject, but my two questions/statements were below (can't remember exactly what I wrote, but it's a summary).
1. If the Sun is 3000km in the air, shouldn't we able to see it in the air even at night where it should have some kind of light emitting into the sky instead of seeing it drop in the horizon?
2. About shipping lanes and flight paths, I said that on the way back from Peru last year I actually caught the flight from Santiago to Sydney. I should know this as I was sitting on the plane, in that particular thread people were saying there's dummy flights, etc so I just wanted to state a fact that there is a flight. Not sure how fast the plane travels and really not sure how accurate the flat earth continent sizes and the distance between them are.
Actually there was another post where I posted in the demons/aliens bit where I mentioned what I see on the plant medicine, I guess it's a bit like the sixth sense kid.. I see spirits in people including myself, when I say spirits it's not people but more like 'demons'..

To tell you the truth when I read the posts about shills yesterday I was thinking, yeah this Acenci dude sounds like a trouble maker.. Sorry mate now I understand the situation. I am a trouble maker, though -- I got into arguments with every single forum administrator (except those at TFES 1 and 2): Eric, then with LIT here (you're again invited to join my forum by the way), then with zero11 at anti-globe, then with karutzar at empathy-way. I joined and left (only once by being banned, at IFERS) exactly... 1 (TFES 1), 2 (TFES 2), 3, 4, 5, 6 forums. But for good reasons. I never start a fight that I don't believe is right. Good luck finding a fair, respectful and balanced administrator. Now it's my turn trying. I am experimenting with democracy. The best administrators are actually those at TFES 1 and TFES 2, since we don't even know who they are (which shows they don't abuse their power), but their forums are still unacceptable, because it is impossible to seriously discuss flat earth on them. They are constantly joking. |

Well I just got banned, but don't understand why?
I was just questioning their assumption that gravity does not exist. That everything is based on 'density'.
I wondered how differences in density can cause smoke to rise UP, if their is no gravity (force)
acting. Density is not a force, nor a direction. If there is no gravity, then why don't more dense
things fall UP, less dense down. Or why don't less dense things fall East, more dense WEST.
Why can't a flat Earth also have gravity?
A very honest question. I don't understand why I was banned and not debated.

I've generally avoided the bickering and forums, but the one thing I take away from all the new talk about flat earth over the past year is that Matt Boylan is informative and actually enjoyable to follow on facebook.
From what I've seen, both Boylan's personality, sense of humor, and his background qualify him as the face of the flat earth movement. Keep up the good stuff there. I'd like to take my family to one of shows.
A malicious attack against Boylan doesn't indicate much prudence on the part of Eric DuBay. It's only preparing his own coffin.

I once made the remark on IFERS that Rowbotham had measured the distance of the sun over the earth as close as 700 miles. DuBay initially challenged that arguing that Rowbotham only argued a 3000 mile distance until I posted a link to a chapter where Rowbotham went into detail about the 700 miles.
This indicated that DuBay has never diligently read Rowbotham's book in its entirety. As a matter of fact, I do not recall Rowbotham ever mentioning a 3000 mile distance of the sun from the earth. That number originated with Thomas Winship's book if I am not mistaken.

I also agree on avoiding the "bickering and forums". Wanted to mention that recently I finally actually attended a few Russian Old Believer Church services. My expectations were high, and I was not disappointed. I'd recommend it if you ever get the chance. I know there are a few of them in Romania in case you ever have the time and inclination. |

Yes, I understood that. I just didn't know offhand if that particular Church existed in Italy or not. When we had earlier discussed it on DuBay's forum, I had not yet visited one of them. Although they are over 2 million people in Russia, they only have two parishes in all of the United States - which indicates to me the deplorable spiritual condition of america. I actually collected and permanently relocated all my things from Greece (by ship across the Atlantic) and Florida (by truck across North America) all the way to Oregon in the US Pacific Northwest to be with one of those two parishes. I finally got a five day break in July to visit there again during which time I actually went to Church and met up with people. I initially met the senior priest at the local truck stop nearby where I parked my rig!
This was just an FYI rather than any intent pushing one religion over another or anything. I had just remembered that our conversation on those kinds of subjects had been free of the bickering, rude interruptions, etc until Eric chimed in when we got on the subject of Jews having made a remark at one point that indicated to me a kind of fanaticism on his part which has since become more well known. I just recalled our conversation and I think one other guy on Eric's forum right after it began whose username currently eludes me all had a common interest and to an appreciable degree a common mind about these subjects.
In my understanding, after the schism between the Vatican & the Eastern Orthodox Church a thousand years ago, a spirit of apostasy slowly permeated the Mediterranean Eastern Orthodox Christian countries and the Ukraine especially after the Council of Florence in the 1400's as they were closer to and more influenced by Italy, but Russia remained steadfast and impervious to this influence remaining more truly Byzantine and the ascetic primitive Christian spirit than Byzantium itself in its later years.
Ultimately, by the end of the Middle Ages or about the late 1500's, Russia was the only country left in the Orthodox world which retained the Byzantine and early Christian traditions. They came after the Russian Church in the 1600's when it was deliberately corrupted from the top down causing one of the most violent religious schisms in history. Of the two churches which resulted, the state church was even more degenerate than the Greeks whom they followed. The other Church of course is the Old Believers.
I can say every woman was clothed with long scarfs or veils and dresses to the floor refreshingly without a hint of sensuality. Everyone was friendly and as pious as much any devout sincere Muslim. In fact, this was evidence and confirmation of what I have long believed that Muslims got the best of their traditions from Christians.
Every man by law had a beard, and in Church a long black robe or Russian shirt girded by a woven belt (like John the Baptist had and as some saints like Theophylact the Bulgarian writes in his commentary on the Gospel about the necessity of Christians being girded with belts (which brings to mind Ephesians 6) when he criticized the Muslim heresy of abandoning this universal Christian custom in spite of their long flowing robes they were omitting a scriptural part of their clothing.
One of the older ladies said to me afterwards at Sunday school she had heard that I was critical of the Greeks, and told me that this Church (the Old Believers) were serious business.
It is my belief that the Orthodox Church of Byzantium is truly the heritage of the Old Believers and not of the Greeks today are far more worldly than their Byzantine ancestors. The Russian Old Believers are the true children of Byzantium. The same applies to the genuinely Christian ancient popes. Their heritage I believe is that of Byzantium and the Old Believers rather than their ethnic descendants per se. The same even applies to the ancient Israelites whose heritage is that of the Orthodox Church rather than their ethnic descendants . Saint Paul's conversation with Agrippa in Acts clearly states that.

I'll have to dig it up, but I've got an Old Believer sketch of the cosmos which I have not yet had opportunity to research which never the less gives me the distinct impression that the early Christian flat earth cosmography of Cosmas Indicopleustes and the Church Fathers has actually been preserved intact among the Russian Old Believers like so many other precious things they have preserved.

Hello folks,
I got a notification from ifers.boards.net that a discussion I posted in was updated. I tried to go there, but it says I've been banned! It's not that I can't post any more, I literally can't even read the forum at all. Apparently I've been blocked by IP address or something.
Anyway, although I read a lot on ifers, the only post I ever made there was several months ago, and was detailed data about an experiment I did that showed that moonlight appears to have a cooling, not a warming, effect. (If you are NOT banned on that forum, you can probably find and read my post; it is under the "Sun, Moon, and Stars" topic. I used the same handle, "Desert Trekker" on that forum.) Since I have never posted anything "disagreeable" (I'm interested in research, not argumentation), I can only image that I've been banned "by mistake", but I'm not too interested in a forum that randomly bans people. How does that facilitate research? Oh well.
I found this forum when I searched for "ifers banned" to see if this happened to anyone else. I also found and posted this same thing on anti-globe.boards.net. (Are that board and this board related in some way?)
Anyway, this cooling moonlight effect is both strange and interesting. Does anyone know of any other experiments like this that have been done? I've seen a couple youtube videos, which are interesting, but not very well done experiments. I actually can't believe that I can't find any reference to anyone ever doing this experiment seriously pretty much at any point ever in all of recorded history. (Please point me to something if you know about it and I'm wrong!) My day job is science-related, but I'm just an average person researching this kind of stuff as a hobby, so I'm not doing "laboratory grade" experiments either, but I'm at least trying to prove or disprove this effect to myself. (So far, I'm pretty convinced personally.) It is hard to get most scientific-minded people to even be willing to run an experiment like this. Anyway, since my preliminary results, I have been waiting to have time to set up a more controlled, in-depth experiment, with a lot more controls and better documentation, and possibly better instrumentation. (For example, using different measurement techniques -- maybe digital laser thermometers have some weird property where measuring surfaces in moonlight just makes them "appear" to be cooler.)
Anyway, if I do any new experiments I will post the results on this forum under an appropriate topic.
So again, hello from another person (randomly?) banned from ifers and looking for a place to actually be able to discuss flat-earth related research with people who (whether they believe it or not) take it serious as something worth looking into.

ifers.boards.net is under a denial of service attack. Either a moderator there is mass banning people or it has been hacked. Just because you were banned do not assume it was for something you said. I was banned just a few days after joining without even making a post there. Eric must have ruffled some feathers. As far as I'm concerned the fact that Eric's forum is under attack is suggestive that he's probably onto something.

This man is especially pernicious: He claims to be an engineer, yet somehow avoids all mention of free expansion, thermodynamics, conservation of energy & the gas laws in his shitty disinfo-vids... Exactly the scientific tools required to genuinely comprehend the FACT that gas-powered rocketry is impossible in vacuum conditions, coincidentally enough. Instead of explaining things in terms of pressure differentials & the conversion of potential energy into kinetic energy, at 10:30 he turns to the camera & states loudly & clearly, twice, that 'space sucks', thus purposefully delivering himself into the hands of his critics. He is a total fraud. Flat Earth is a disgustingly obvious strawman deliberately inserted into the 'truther' community in order to poison everything it touches. Enough is enough with these lepers; they should be shunned & repulsed at every turn. |
