Thank you, flat earth truth, for inviting me here. I found out that I was banned too, but I'm not sure why, perhaps because you invited me  It seemed that the language was getting more crude over there too. I am sorry that he is doing this to people who really put a lot of effort into helping him. Being in a spot where you are the boss is a great responsibility and not easy to do well, I guess. I still have a lot of questions that never received proper answers over there, especially about the star movements, antarctica and the sun/moon paths. I think, too, there are some arguments that have been put forward that are not very strong, especially how and where the "curvature" may or may not be seen. I don't think the height that is claimed to show flat earth is actually high enough. Hopefully these things can be fleshed out here, no? |

As they say, "a problem shared is a problem halved". Thanks to IFERS, for banning all these people to make us feel in good company. Yes, Matt, you were banned because here I wrote that I was hoping you would join us. And yes, hes not right with jesus. Its true that the dates and the storyline of jesus are false but jesus exist really. What happened was, that the romans took christianity in their belief system and fusing their old and new belief system so everywhere where before was saturn, jupiter and the sun worshipping jesus Took the new part. The same story the same dates. They just change the name of the god.
Its a big problem but to say jesus never exist is a lie and wrong.

That is the most reasonable explanation one can reach when applying logical thinking (=connecting the dots) to reliable data. This gives better picture why enforcing the heliocentric model is very important to these people. Now the hurdle is: How do we warn people of such plots? (I personally think that Eric is very good at this, as what he does is he's got a database of answers to frequent questions with strong and simple evidence) Also, purposeful gatherings (physical gatherings) among thinkers and genuine truth seekers is vital at least to unify at least the major opinions. The subject is extremely serious, and unless serious actions are taken toward it, most of discussions here won't be as useful as we might think.. I completely agree. I suggest that you join the forum. We need more people like you to help us counter the Shills. |

I was banned for politely and courteously asking questions they clearly could not answer...to be honest I am exhausted...spent so much time and energy and thought replying to people in IFERS and they just removed by comments and banned me for asking legitimate questions about the Flat Earth.

When I first started looking into the Flat Earth Theory, I quicklly realised that the FES page was not much use to hang around in. In my naivety I believed that IFERS was complely different, I thought that it was a serious discussion platform filled with mostly Flat Earth believers who were open to observation based enquiry (which is the Zetetic method) regarding the true form of the Earth. Problem was, I started a thread with a question that none of the Flat Earth 'experts' in there could answer; and I soon discovered that to attempt honest discision and enquiry in there was to go against the ego cult that comprised the core ethos of the group. Thus as I attempted to present evidence for what I was saying, I was removed. Thanks for welcoming me here :-) |

By what you are saying, I gather that you will be one of those teaching us, rather than learning from us, but, since we all went through the FES and IFERS experiences, we have at least learned to be serious (which FES lacks) and to accept respectful disagreement (which IFERS lacks). In other words, no one who is serious and respectful will be banned, and no one will have to withstand joking around or intolerance for his ideas.
I am just a member, but I think the host also agrees with this idea. Everyone should be made feel welcome. As flat earthers we have already experienced enough ridicule and intolerance.

I didn't read this whole thing. I was banned twice tonight on two different IP's. I didn't do anything other than say I am not a flat earther but am open to ideas. I provided a link to possibly further the discussion passed the posters accusing someone else for being a shill. All I wanted to do was further the discussion along to see what the more knowledgeable might say on the topic. In first post I even said I mostly just lurk and don't really make posts. I know for a fact I am not a shill and I see others being accused of being shills, and one popular youtube personality in particular. On my second post I said I was intimated to even post anything there because of all the accusations and bannings there. Never seen anything like it, it amazes me. I just wanted to say this. Probably not going to post here either. But I wanted to find this forum for future reference, otherwise I would never find it since I'm not even allowed to see their boards, and ended up deciding to say this.
