Bungie, Inc. is an American video game developer located in Bellevue, Washington, U.S. The company was established in May 1991 as Bungie Software Products Corporation by University of Chicago undergraduate student Alex Seropian, who later brought in programmer Jason Jones after publishing Jones' game Minotaur: The Labyrinths of Crete. Originally based in Chicago, Illinois, the company concentrated primarily on Macintosh games during its early years and created two very successful video game franchises called Marathon and Myth. A West Coast offshoot produced the PC and console title Oni.

Microsoft acquired Bungie in 2000; the project it was working on was repurposed into a launch title for Microsoft's Xbox console, called Halo: Combat Evolved. Halo became the Xbox's "killer application", selling millions of copies and spawning a billion dollar franchise. On October 5, 2007, Bungie announced that it had split from Microsoft and become a privately held independent company, Bungie LLC (Microsoft retained ownership of the Halo franchise IP).

In 1999, Bungie announced its next product, Halo, originally intended to be a third-person shooter game for Windows and Macintosh.[22] Halo‍ '​s public unveiling occurred at the Macworld Expo 1999 keynote address by Apple's then-interim-CEO Steve Jobs (after a closed-door screening at E3 in 1999).[22]

On June 19, 2000, soon after Halo‍ '​s preview at Electronic Entertainment Expo 2000, Microsoft announced that it had acquired Bungie Software and that Bungie would become a part of the Microsoft Game Division under the name Bungie Studios. Halo would be developed as an exclusive, first-person shooter title for the Xbox.

Halo: Combat Evolved (also referred to as Halo: CE, Halo 1, or simply Halo) is a 2001 military science fiction first-person shooter video game developed by Bungie and published by Microsoft. The first game of the Halo franchise, it was released on November 15, 2001, as an exclusive launch title for the Xbox gaming system,[1] and is considered the platform's "killer app".[7] More than five million copies were sold worldwide by November 2005.[8] Microsoft released versions of the game for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X in 2003, and the surrounding storyline was adapted and elaborated into a series of novels, comic books, and live-action Web shorts. The game was later released as an Xbox Original for download onto an Xbox 360 hard drive.

Halo is set in the twenty-sixth century, with the player assuming the role of the Master Chief, a cybernetically enhanced supersoldier. The player is accompanied by Cortana, an artificial intelligence who occupies the Master Chief's neural interface. Players battle various aliens as they attempt to uncover the secrets of the eponymous Halo, a ring-shaped artificial world.

Benjamin Giraud is a journalist and a war photographer who for a time worked as a civilian contractor for the Office of Naval Intelligence's Section Two. During the Battle of Mombasa in October 2552, he witnessed Spartan John-117 "saving humanity". This led Giraud to undertake a series of biographical interviews about the Master Chief in 2558.[1]

Giraud is voiced by Keegan-Michael Key, an American comedian best know for his work on Mad TV and Key & Peele. Key starred on Mad TV alongside Debra Wilson, the voice of Hocus in Halo 3.

I have been aware and tapped into a state of metacognition since I was a young boy, however, I claim to know nothing.

That is, I am merely a channel who yields to spirit and the loving energy which heals, and as a facilitator of such, I help to bring people's energy and bodies back into homeostasis and balance.

I have created this channel as I have a lot of work to do on this planet and with much to say. I have been put charge by spirit to do so and will be posting here on a daily basis.

I am NOT here to create a new modality, to become another guru or to become a product of some corporate entity. This is not about me and it is not about success as many others have sought out in the past.

It is my truest intention to continue to be vigilant and to avail myself to spirit and to God (as I know it) and in doing so, to always focus on what the truth is, and not any polarized view that is of the ego, the flesh, of fear and which creates greater conflict.

THAT is the power of the human spirit. THAT is what sets us apart from many of the other species here on this Earth. We are meant to be the custodial beings to protect this place and to be in harmony with all.

Mental state is generally a literary or legal term, and is only used in psychiatry or psychology as the mental state examination, where it refers to the condition of someone's mind. Here there is an assessment of thought processes, memory, mood, cognitive state, and energy level. Where a mental state is shared by a large proportion of the members of a group or society, it can be called a collective mental state.

Gustave Le Bon proposed that mental states are passed by contagion, while Sigmund Freud wrote of war fever in his work Group Psychology and the Analysis of the Ego (1922), a perfect example of the collective mental state. Franz Borkenau wrote of collective madness, while many writers have discussed collective depression. Psychosis can be passed from one individual to another as induced psychosis or folie a deux, but rarely involves more than two people.
