The "space walk" looked totally fake, to me. That "earth" was really fake.
And the "time lapse from the space station" was so totally CGI, all graphics. It was poorly done graphics at that.

Good time as any for this one: Can I ask a favor? I have this video and it is kind of an experiment for whoever is interested: There are 5 different clips in the following video. One of them, some of them or all of them CLAIM to be real video footage. List 1-5 and say whether you think it is CLAIMED to be Fake or CLAIMED to be Real. I have the answers and will give them in a little while. BUT it will be interesting to see how people perceive what is supposed to be "real" in a video. I have already done this with someone who is very much a NASA supporter. Also, remember it is only what the "claim" is for real or fake, not what it may be in reality.

Soooooo fake. Actually, they're all fake, because I see a blue ball. And worse-than-Hollywood computer graphics. I would imagine that 4 would be the one they would put on TV, though. It is moving more smoothly and the blue marble looks very "I found it on Google images".

Thanks @jess! I can't say anything yet, but I hope more people are willing to try this - especially anyone who might support NASA.

Ok look at this one too... Ok, I did the one above in about an hour. It is sloppy, but you get the idea, no? NOW.... I just found this one, done by the Metecs people using CGI software "EDGE" that was created by ... guess who ... NASA ! They admit it is CGI from the get-go and it is the cutting-edge quality software.

It seemed kind of realistic to me. I skimmed through it but managed to see some debri floating. Someone points out something at 46:02. Might have been what I saw too, looks close enough anyway.
Kind of interesting there's a 180' pan. Unfortunately it's the ISS that's behind him.
Also, it sort of reminds me of that underwater sound you hear on scuba videos sometimes. Close your eyes and listen.

For some reason it starts getting pretty dark in a matter of a few minutes (scroll back from the link below to see it start to get dark).
At 19:17 the visible portion of the Earth is really dark. He then flips the camera around at 19:30. At 19:46 there's a cut in the video. At 20:04 he flips the camera around and it looks a lot brighter. The sun is visbile when he turns the camera back and it's basically as bright as it was at the beginning of the video.
It could be he was messing with a brightness/dimmer function. But it went from bright to dark pretty quick and then it becomes bright. Not sure how much video was cut out at 19:46 but it's hard to imagine it being for very long. I don't know why it went from bright, to dark, and then bright again.

That's the spot where I linked to above but now that I look at it again it does move like a bird that flapped it's wings. So hard to tell though. Zhib Rhan mentions the curved looking solar panel but the video above that I watched says they're using a go pro and figured it's a fish eye lens anyway.

At 46:06 or 46:07 it looks like you can see another object go by. Do you see it to? Watch it on the HD link you just gave. It's near his finger but in the background.

Oh, yeah? I could not notice. I can barely see the "bird". I wonder if this means that they're not making all these space walks in the swimming pool.

Yeah, I see both. I'll see if darkskywatcher mentions it too.
