flat earth truthI just noticed something really suspicious regarding the flat Earth maps. I am wondering why the TFES put the UN flat Earth map in the FE wiki. Why would the TFES promote this version of the map? Isn't this other version better or another variation of it: I am writing this because I watched Steven's video Flat Earth gout where he makes fun of the FE map comparing the sizes and the proportions. Well, it is obvious that that map is absolutely distorted. Therefore, isn't this other version much better? At least the sizes are accurate and only the distances might be problematic.

Well, I will need to think about it more, before I can express myself. Of course we are all free to think and say whatever we want, so for now I'd stick with the azimuthal equidistant as my favorite (I know you don't like it). By the way, let us embed that video by our new member lordstevenchrist, bceause it definitely belongs in this section: www.youtube.com/user/TheFoxStevie/videos

flat earth truthI already linked that video in my previous post. I think it is best to avoid embedding as this slows down the website. I don't see the point of embedding anyway. Isn't it much better and easier to read if you simply have the link to the video on youtube? Also, the pages will load much faster. The map Steven made fun of is absolutely distorted. It is the UN flat Earth map, and the map which is listed in the flat Earth wiki as supposedly the most correct one. It is almost as if intentionally chosen to be as inaccurate as possible. The continents are absolutely distorted. The other version of the map has the continents and everything in its correct size. The only problem is the distance which is kind of too long in the southern portions of the disc. The strange thing is that the other more accurate map was endorsed by them too, but later on somehow they decided to use the less accurate one. It is almost as if they want people to get confused and consider the map obviously wrong, just like Steven did.

OK, I will keep in mind your recommendation. Feel free to remind me if I forget it. Of course I hope there won't be a risk of being banned or the post deleted if someone embeds a video.

There is no point to embed videos. This slows down the forum. No one will get banned, of course, but it is for the best if we don't embed but only link the videos. Anyone can then click and open it. It is not much different. Also, then you can see more details about the video as well and our forum won't get jammed.

Please, check if you can find an option to disable video embedding, that way you won't have to keep on reminding 30 different people about it. As it is now, as soon as we post a link, it becomes an embedded video.

Can you explain the different phases of the moon, the moon would be a full circle every time we see it if the earth was flat. Please explain?
