Hey guys! so glad I found you here. I found you by typing in Ifers Banned ha ha... Wow what a bunch of paranoid people that can't even have a debate because they are so overly paranoid. I was banned for agreeing with them???
Anyways here's an introduction,
I found my first flat earth material because of Eric Dubay and his uploads on You Tube. At first I was extremely skeptical and click on his video just for a laugh. But when watched it I was left with many more questions and decided to keep digging into the subject. I watched many many videos and was sold on the flat earth (pretty much at that point). The fact you can see light houses when they should be under the curvature of the globe, the experiment they did on the 6 mile long canal. The lack of any real photos from Nasa, the constant lies from Nasa, it all pointed to something being wrong with what we were taught and it looked like the answer was we did indeed live on a flat earth. The only thing I was hung up on was how the sun looked like it went under the Ocean horizon. At this point I made my Ifers account and proposed an experiment to see if the sun was indeed going under the horizon or if it was vanishing due to perspective. I noticed on some of Erics videos he had a clip where he showed us nothing on the horizon using our plain eyes, then they used a camera to zoom in and wa-la some ships appeared on the horizon ( the zoom was able to bring them back from the vanishing point). I proposed the same thing be done on a west coast at sunset to see if someone could zap back the setting sun if it indeed was only disappearing because of perspective (getting further away from the view) and not actually setting. Once I did this all the admins on the site started assuming I was a shill for some reason because I didn't understand what was happening. I was getting personal attacks to the effect of "ohh you think you're so damn smart don't you ect ect" I was like what??? I told them hey I'm trying to help prove to the world here what you guys are saying is reality through some real experiments. They wanted no part of that or so it seemed as they deleted my proposal post form the site. It was really weird I was getting private messages from 3 different people saying I just needed to lay low for a awhile and I needed to just agree with the admins or I would get banned. I was like how the hell is this educating anyone if you have to bow your head to these people and just accept what they are saying and be fearful your question might piss them off and lead to a ban. These folks that were messaging me were agreeing and thought more experiments would be a good thing to help prove the flat earth exists. Anyways after about 10 reply backs defending myself that I wasn't a globe shill I just gave up and didn't return to the site.
I kept at it though, I kept watching videos and trying to understand the setting sun on the ocean and then today I saw a video that had some information that made sense to me on how I could be seeing a sunset and how the sun could actually still be overhead the whole time. In this video he explained that as we look out onto the horizon the ground plane will be brought up to our eyes. This is how you get that video of the ocean water appearing to be many stories up on the buildings in the background. You essentially have a ramp of water that appears travels upwards when you look out at a watery horizon. It is this ramp that makes a false horizon in the sense that its not really up that high so as the sun gets closer to the vanishing point it appears to dip below the ramp of water which gives the illusion of a setting sun. WOW!!! It looked like I had found the answer to my own flat earth hang up. I went back to Ifers today and posted this in hopes that if there were any other people there that were hung up on this, that it would help them to see how this could be. I even apologized and said I was sorry if this was what they were trying to explain to me back when I first posted to their site. I thought people wound be thrilled that another person saw it was very possible we lived on a flat earth but low and behold.
I come back a few hours later and am greeted with a YOUR ACCOUNT HAS BEEN BANNED page?!?!?!
WTF is wrong with these people over there, I now have to assume something is super fishy over there on their site (Eric Dubay's site)... I hope it's different over here, I hope I can type my thoughts without fear of being banned or censored. And I say censored because when I went back the second time to Ifers I saw all my previous posts were deleted by them, you could see my words when the admins were quoting me but my posts were gone. How the hell can you have serious debates or talks about anything if their way of thinking is BELIEVE EVERYTHING I SAY RIGHT NOW AND DON"T QUESTION ANY OF IT, AND IF YOU DON'T GET MY SHITTY EXPLANATION THEN YOU ARE AN IDIOT AND THEREFORE A SHILL... lol... Is basically their way of thinking over there, thats the jist I got personally and from reading others peoples posts. HOW DARE YOU BRING UP ANYTHING THAT GOES AGAINST WHAT THE GRAND MASTER ERIC HAS ETCHED INTO STONE... ha ha ha.. Crazy...
